Charming outdoor terrace, Beautiful beachfront, Lovely sea views
The EV charger didn't work as advertised!!! The room was uncomfortably hot and lacked proper ventilation. obtaining clarity on my reservation details was frustrating at best. They really need to step up their game!!!

I had a lovely time at this hotel right on the beach. The room was spacious and had a nice decor. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, making dining a pleasure. The evening meals were great, though breakfast could have been warmer. One issue I encountered was that the access routes really need improvement, especially for wheelchair users. Moving between the accessible room and the dining area involved too many heavy doors and a steep ramp, which was tough to navigate. parking was a bit of a hassle, with non-residents filling the lot. I enjoyed my stay, but addressing those access problems would make the experience much better for everyone.

the staff were super nice, they really went out of their way to help us with an early check-in. our room was clean n comfy. We had a great balcony with sea view. dinner was yum and breakfast had so many options, like everything u could want. really appreciated how fast they returned an item i left behind, just excellent service overall.
but the noise from the nearby trains was annoying at times, and the bathroom layout was kinda odd.

Perfect for a Couple's Getaway
The hotel has been redesigned to resemble a luxury cruise liner, the vibe is simply top-notch. We especially enjoyed the excellent food in the brasserie. fresh, cooked to order, and served by staff who really seemed to care about our experience.
Sure, it isn’t the cheapest place around, but honestly, the experience justifies every penny.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Cooden King room with my family. The location near the beach offered breathtaking views, and the dining experience exceeded expectations. While the room's size felt limited and the road noise was bothersome, the hotel's charm and friendly service made it worthwhile.

The dining scene here is a total treat! The restaurant serves up some drool-worthy American-inspired dishes that are a real culinary find. Plus, we had a charming stay in the Cooden Suite, enjoying the stylish decor and a good selection for breakfast, despite a few hiccups. It’s fab being right on the beach too!
Now, a cheeky little critique—there’s no lift in the hotel, so if you’re lugging bags, be prepared for a workout! no fridge in the room was a letdown, especially since I have medication that needs cooling. But overall, not enough to sour the vibe.

missingWrote a review on Aug 11beachfront locationspacious settingscomforting decorexpensive dining
The beachfront location provides a beautiful view and a chance for a morning walk along the sands. Rooms like the Cooden King have spacious settings and comfortable decor, making for an inviting stay.
The food prices seem steep for the area, with steak at £30 and Fish & Chips at £20. While the cod main was tasty, the undercooked potatoes in the chowder were disappointing. Breakfast options could use improvement, as the buffet-style full English lacked quality, especially the scrambled eggs. Noise issues from the railway nearby and disturbances in the corridor during the night also detracted from the experience. The bathroom basins lack an overflow and plugs aren't allowed for safety reasons, which felt more inconvenient than necessary. Despite recent refurbishments, the confusing layout and age of the property can be bewildering.

Delightful stay with beautiful sea views
I recently enjoyed a stay in a Cooden King room, which was comfortable and offered lovely sea views. The staff were welcoming and provided good service throughout our visit. I particularly appreciated the quality of the breakfast, which featured freshly prepared items and was very satisfying. the outdoor dining restrictions during our stay meant we couldn't enjoy the terrace as much as I'd hoped.
